The fiscal year-end for the Emerald Community Centre is October 31. The annual general meeting is held in November and two board members retire and two new board members are elected to the board. Board members serve for a three year term and are eligible to serve two consecutive terms, but then must take at least 1 year off before being eligible for serving on the board again. Regular meetings are held with dates varing depending on activities.

The Board of Directors also serve on the Emerald Junction Summerfest Music Festival committee along with some additional residents.
